THE POWER OF MINDSET
In moving forward from this pandemic, we all have important issues to address both individually and as a socitey to build a better future.
Our thoughts, our perceptions and our unique filters process what we see, sense and experience. It’s all about how we think.
In coaching leaders currently trying to create new ways of thinking, we must always start with building awareness around our beliefs and examining our current thinking. If we think that the universe is out to get us, no matter how hard we try, we’ll always find ways to sabotage our efforts.
The good news is that with awareness and intention, we can change negative thinking into positive thinking and free ourselves from the imprisonment of limited perception.
Deepak Chopra tells us that we are the only creatures on earth that can change our biology by what we think and feel. As you feed yourself more positive and empowering thoughts, you are enhancing your physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being.
As with any new task or commitment, intentional action is the fuel for success. Become wholly committed to catching your thoughts and shaping your words positively. Find your “shoulds”, “I can’t”, “I don’t know” and replace them for more empowering ones. For instance:
I don’t know ——– I don’t know YET
I can’t ————– I can acheve if I do x, y, z
I should ———— I WILL
Life is change, growth is optional. Choose wisely and position yourself accordingly so you can see a friendly universe and ensure a future that is truly worth living.
