Time to let you of what doesn’t serve you…<\/h1>\n

I love starting the year with new goals and priorities, bigger dreams and a lot of enthusiasm about what the year ahead may bring.<\/h3>\n

As excited as I feel about what the new year may bring with it, I am also acutely aware of the fact that, if I want to make things happen, specially newer and better things, I also need to remove some of the things that no longer serve a purpose in my life, so I can free up some much needed space.<\/h3>\n

So just as I spend time creating new intentions for the year ahead, I also do a great deal of decluttering in my life, and get rid of everything that’s not working for me, so I can free myself up and create the space needed to completely shift from the inside out into bigger and better things to come.<\/h3>\n

So, if you are looking to up your game in 2019, this is especially important to assist you in making big shifts over the next 12 months. Although you can\u2019t change who you fundamentally are<\/em>, you can change your habits and distractions around you with these easy actions. Go for it and see how light you feel!<\/h3>\n

Here are 12 suggestions:<\/h3>\n

    Declutter and organise your house<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  2. \n

    Declutter and tidy up your office<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  3. \n

    Get rid of whatever is broken or you don’t use<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  4. \n

    Donate or give away clothes and items you no longer use<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  5. \n

    Unsubscribe from newsletters you don\u2019t read<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  6. \n

    Back up and clean up all files in your computer<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  7. \n

    Delete \/ action \/ file all pending emails in your inbox<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  8. \n

    Limit your social media consumption<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  9. \n

    Clean up your Facebook news feed and Instagram following (only follow people who truly add value to your life)<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  10. \n

    Let go of Facebook groups that add nothing to your day<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  11. \n

    Let go of relationships that you no longer enjoy or have become an obligation (networking groups, volunteer positions, business ventures, friendships, etc).<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n
  12. \n

    Strip away as much negativity as you can (identity triggers, and stay away from those)<\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The above suggestions work great with me, and I encourage you to give them a try.<\/h3>\n
