Lie #1: Presence Means Confidence<\/strong><\/h2>\n

We\u2019ve been conditioned to believe that visible confidence equals credibility.<\/h3>\n

So when self-doubt appears\u2014especially in new roles or high-stakes moments\u2014leaders assume they\u2019re failing.<\/h3>\n

But confidence is not the foundation of presence.
Groundedness is.<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The leaders with the strongest presence don\u2019t rush to prove themselves.
They pause.

In complex, fast-moving systems, certainty is often an illusion.<\/h3>\n

But mature leadership presence sounds like:<\/h3>\n

Control has been confused with strength for far too long.<\/h3>\n

Control over emotions.
Control over conversations.

Leaders with true presence can:<\/h3>\n

* Hold emotional tension without reacting<\/h3>\n
